In our classroom this week

Theme: All About Me - Learning about Ourselves

In our classroom we have been reading about "The Kissing Hand". Parents it would help your child a whole lot as they transition into full day school if you could draw a red heart in their palm, and remind them that you love them. We have had many tears since last week, a this is a difficult time for some students as they go through the separation stage. 

You child should have been coming home with some awesome artwork. They have worked really hard on them.

 Parents, just an update on what will be happening for this week and next week.

Monday, August 15th to 18th is Kindergarten Assessments. Please make sure to be on time so that you do not run into the time allotted to the person after you.

Friday, August 19th and Monday, August 22nd are full days. We will have half the class each day. Your child will need a snack and lunch. Also please walk your child to the classroom so that they can familiarize themselves in finding their room.

Tuesday, August 23rd, all students will be here.
